James and I met in January 2002. I knew our friend, Greg and met James through him at a pool hall in League City, Texas. We went out on our first date February 12, 2002 and became a couple February 14, 2002. We moved very fast! He had an apartment with Greg and I stayed there most of the time. We lived with my mom for a bit, but not long. We moved into our own apartment in Nassau Bay and on February 14, 2003 we were with his dad and his girlfriend in South Padre Island, Texas when I found out I was pregnant with our beautiful son who is now 5. We have had a time of trials and errors but are confident we are each others' soul mates and true love. We are now planning our wedding 8 years later.

We are getting married November 13, 2010. We are planning on the wedding to be outside under a gazebo then moved inside for the reception. Our wedding will be a very down to earth, relaxed occasion. We are having a western/country wedding. We are planning the wedding to be held around 4:30 in the afternoon and the reception immediately to follow. We are planning on an early end to the night around 8 PM. Our friend, Greg, got ordained so that he may perform our wedding. We are including a sand ceremony instead of a unity candle ceremony so our son can be included in the joining of our lives. It's going to be a very special, very emotional moment in our lives. We hope everyone will join us if possible.

Our reception is going to be indoors in the clubhouse at the apartments. May change. It's going to be a very fun event. We are looking forward to having our friends and family around us to celebrate the joining of our lives.
